I am sure you are extremely bored of reading things around COVID, so i will keep it short and sweet ✅
Hey Super Parent ☺️ We are back officially this week - very exciting times for our small world! ⚽️ As there are still social distancing guidelines in play across every industry, our sessions are no different. The good news is that our actual session content does not have to change as The FA have lifted restrictions which means that all of the usual fun will be had each week, including football matches!
However, where we do have to operate slightly differently involves adults being at the sessions, and how your Superstar needs to prepare for their session with us. Please see below for full details on the small changes we HAVE to make in order to operate safely and securely:
For our toddler football sessions at Christchurch Hall Friday lunch times and River Church Tuesday mornings (usually at Westcroft leisure centre) adults are of course permitted to stay in their class with their child. However when doing so, adults must wear a face mask at all times
For our Elite academy Monday evening sessions at Thomas More, Purley between 5-7pm adults are not permitted in to the sports hall with their child and are asked to drop off their child, and wait in their car if they have one. For parents who use public transport / get a lift to the session, you must either wait outside, or sit in the changing rooms wearing a face mask.
For Thomas More Saturday Mornings we are only allowing Tots parents into the hall with a face mask, and any child who has a trial class with us (if they need their parents support) . All other parents will be asked to wait in their car. For parents who use public transport / get a lift to the session, you must either wait outside, or sit in the changing rooms wearing a face mask.
ALL OTHER SESSIONS THAT WE RUN EACH WEEK ARE CURRENTLY TAKING PLACE OUTDOORS SO THE ABOVE DOES NOT APPLY, HOWEVER CONES WILL BE MARKED DOWN FOR WHERE PARENTS CAN STAND TO ENSURE SOCIAL DISTANCING IS IN PLACE.
All other venues will be updated on this page when they move indoors.
Please ensure your child has their own water bottle with their name on
Also ensure that they have their own hand sanitizer
Please ensure they wash their hands and use hand sanitizer prior to entering the sports hall
If you or any one else in your household is displaying symptoms, you are asked not to attend our sessions
In the unlikely event that your child falls ill or starts displaying symptoms during our sessions, you will be asked to take them home
OUR EQUIPMENT AND HYGEINE STANDARDS
All footballs and any equipment touched will be wiped down with wipes between each session
Bibs will not be shared between groups or any groups throughout the day and bibs used will be washed on a daily basis
No Hi 5s are permitted but we will do virtual Hi 5s and celebrations with each other 😃
In a nutshell that is it! ✅We ask for your full support and cooperation on the above whilst we transition through this phase of reopening to ensure our sessions are as clean and safe as possible ☺️💙
Look forward to seeing you!
Ash & The Skillz Team ⚽️
