YOUR £5 TRIALS

How does it work and what happens after your trial?

We offer all NEW children 2 trial classes for just £5. You can book at your most suited venue, day and time and enjoy 2 classes before being offered the chance to join the class.

Please see below for the following terms and conditions:

1)

2 trial classes are only available to NEW children.

If you have been with us in the past, you can book directly onto the class via our monthly payments​

2)

Please only book trials with the view of signing up after your trial. For example, if you book your two trials for the 1st and 8th of the month but know you cannot commit to joining after your trial until the following month, we ask that you book your trial for a later date as we cannot hold a space open for you.

3) 

After your trial you are given first refusal on your space! 

If you loved your trial classes and wish to join us, you will be given first refusal on your space by an email invitation. We offer 36hrs to make a decision before your space is given away to the next child waiting

4) 

In the unlikely event you do not enjoy your trial classes, the amount is refunded to you. 

Simply email us to request a refund and we will do so immediately and give your space to the next child waiting

 

Our Flexible Monthly Payments 

We know lots can change in a young Super Footballers life. That is why you are only ever committed to a month at a time!

See below for our payments terms and conditions:

1.

Payments are debited from your chosen DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD on 1st of each month

Your payments to us are not a direct debit from your bank, it is a recurring card payment just like Netflix is 🙂

2.

Cancel by 25th of month 

Should you wish to cancel your subscription, please email us on cancellations@skillzuk.co.uk BY 25th of the month so that you are not charged for the following month. If your request is received after our cancellation date, your cancellation will be processed the following month and you will still have access to your classes next month. 

3.

Updating Your Payment Details

Should you ever need to update your card details, you can do so by emailing us. We will send you a direct link to do so. If a payment ever fails on 1st of the month, our system will automatically retry on 4th and 9th. After this date you will be prompted to update your card. 

4.

Access to classes if payment fails

Should your payments fail, we reserve the right to refuse access to our classes until this is resolved. Payment will still be due for the classes in that month. 

5.

Sibling Discounts

We offer a 10% sibling discount on 2nd child monthly bookings with us. Once your subscription is activated by you putting your card details in, we will automatically update your subscription price to include your discounted plan with 2 or more children. 

6.

Your Space Is Secure

Until you tell us otherwise, your space is secured with payment each month. This way, you never have to miss a class and your child's football development will blossom!

7.

Payments Remain The Same Each Month

Your monthly price is an average of all of the classes in the year. For example some months have 5 sessions, others have 4. The minimum number of classes in a month is 2 which usually happens in April.

The price always remains the same as this is the most economical way of running our payments. Saturday classes run for 12 months of the year and week day classes for 11 months of the year. 

8.

Covering Payments

We can only take payment from you on 1st of each month, therefore when you sign up after your trial, any classes in that month will be added to the following months payment. E.G. If there are 3 classes after your trial in that month, we will add a 3 class covering payment to the following months payment. 

You will always receive an email notifying you of this.

Can I join a class even if it has already started?

Yes! You can join our classes at any time subject to availability

What happens if my Super Star does not enjoy their trial class?

In the unlikely event that this happens there is no commitment to continue with any further classes and we refund your £5 trial classes fee when you email us to request to do so.

How do I pay?

For our weekly classes, we offer a monthly payment via your debit/credit card. This means that you are only committed to one month at a time (as we know how much can change in a young footballers life) and payment is taken on the 1st of the month for that month ahead. Please see the section above for full payment details.

As a parent, do I have to join in with the sessions?

No. We encourage independence in our Super Stars as part of their social development.

However, during our Skillz 4 Tots classes, with the youngest children aged 2-3 years old, we ask that you join in with your Super Star to help build their confidence. With the 3-4 year olds we encourage them to play on their own, but some may need additional support. Our aim is to develop independence in your Super Tot, but this can take time as each child progresses at different rates. Once the coaches and you feel they are ready to play on their own, you can sit back and enjoy the show!

But don’t worry – if you are asked to join in, we will make sure you are having lots of fun and developing your football skills too. You could become the next Lionel Messi….its unlikely, but you never know!

Can I drop my Super Star off at the classes and pick him / her up at the end?

No. You are required to stay at the classes to encourage and support your Super Star on their footballing journey. We are not a childcare service therefore do not have the capacity to look after your child without your supervision.

Can I get a refund for a missed class?

We do not offer any refunds or credit for missed classes when booked onto a class. This applies to all classes and sessions.

I have been charged a covering payment this month for my Superstars classes. What is this?

If you join our classes after the 1st of the month, we are unable to take payment for that month until the following month. We would then add on any sessions you have had to your first months payment.


For example if your trial finishes on the 10th October and you choose to join the classes after your trial, we would then add a covering payment for October’s 17th, 24th, 31st sessions which would debit your card along with Novembers sessions payment on the 1st November. 

You are never overcharged and you will always receive an email when a covering payment has been added.
