We are back 😬
We are delighted to announce that our classes will OFFICIALLY be returning from Saturday 5th September onwards. Whilst every effort has been made to ensure there is minimal disruption to your regular class, some things have been out of our control, but know that we are making things as easy and simple for you to return to class and your regular weekly schedule.
Below you will see how our classes will be COVID compliant to keep everyone safe, and where they will take place. Some classes cannot return to their usual venue at the time of writing, so we have put in place a back up venue super close (some just over the road) for September until these venues fully re-open. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask us!
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL CLASSES LISTED WILL BE RUNNING IN SEPTEMBER!

HOW DO I START MY SESSION?⚽️
Andrea has been working hard behind the scenes to ensure everyone has received an email or text message asking if they will be returning in September. If you have not yet got back to her about securing your space for September, please do so by emailing hello@skillzuk.co.uk . If you've already let her know about your credit options, you do not need to do anything more :)
The deadline for letting us know is Wednesday 26th August before you will be removed from our register and a waiting list Superstar will take your place
If you paid in April (thank you!), you will have received a credit options email. If you chose anything other than "credit for September", your monthly payments will be unpaused and will restart on 1st September 2020. If you chose credit for classes, your subscription will be unpaused on 1st October 2020 where normal payment will resume.
If you didn't pay in April, we cannot restart your subscription at our end, so please set up your payment again via the invoice sent by Friday 28th August. WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE HAVE SCRAPPED THE £7.50 SET UP FEE for everyone setting up their subscription again 🙂
COVID COMPLIANCE 🤧😷⚽️
The FA has given football the all clear to have contact training and matches. With this in mind, we are mindful that we still need to be safe and thorough in our preparations and cleaning processes. Note that guidelines are constantly being updated, but for now you can see how we will be approaching our classes:
Our footballs will be sanitised in between sessions
We will have enough bibs so no 2 groups will wear the same on that day, and these will be washed daily
Hi 5s and team celebrations are banned for now (we will do virtual Hi 5s and run around like crazy footballers on our own when we score)
For indoor sessions, parents will be asked to wear masks at all times
For some of our indoor sessions (depending on venue capacity restrictions), parents will be asked to drop off their Superstar and wait outside the sports hall / in their car. This will not apply for toddler football classes
Hand sanitiser will be available at all of our sites and Superstars encouraged to use throughout the session
Coaches will promote social distancing from the children and parents where possible. We need to make sure we can still deliver a top notch session and entertain the Superstars too!
A register will be taken (as normal) at the start of each session, and if there are two groups of children present, there will be no mixing of the groups
All parents, Superstars and coaches will be asked to stay away from our sessions if they are displaying any symptoms or are unwell, and advised to get an NHS Covid test

We totally understand that some of you will be uncomfortable with returning to classes, and that is absolutely fine with us 🙂We do however need to get back doing what we love and helping our Superstars mental wellbeing and football development. We aren't able to hold any space open for you if you choose not to come back in September if there is a waiting list on your class. We hope you can understand. You will be added on to the waiting list for that class and notified when a space arises.
If we aren't able to return to our normal venues and have to do it at an alternative listed above, we only expect this to be for September until some of our venues allow us to hire again. We are in constant communication with our venue partners, and will confirm where the session is taking place with you a few days prior to your first class starting back!
Finally, we would like to make you aware that we will be increasing our prices across the board from 1st October 2020. You will receive confirmation of the small price increase mid September. (Please kindly note that all of our prices include 20% VAT, and that Thursdays Westcroft 6-7pm, and any Superstar who joined our Saturday classes from January 2020 onwards will not be effected by this as you are on our most up to date prices already).
